Whether you are an absolute beginner OR have tried your hand at painting before, Sebastian Studios will open up an intriguing world of mixed media painting, drawing & sculpting!

Our classes cater for all age groups, interests and skill level (specializing in the absolute beginner). Depending on your level of confidence it may take between 3 - 5 sessions to complete each work. With a generous dose of individual attention, we make sure each step in your painting experience is a success.

The relaxed and informal atmoshphere sees a sense of community as students encourage one another and form friendships.

Class Cost Options:

CHILDREN - (8-12yrs) as children enjoy exploring all disciplines and mediums - materials are included in all children's classes

A) Weekly 1.5hr session | Inclusive of all materials
     - $40 per person per class 
B) Weekly 1.5hr session for 10 weeks | Paid at the beginning of ten-week (school term) block
     - $360 - Save $40


ADULTS

A) Weekly 1.5hr session | Bring your own materials & stretched canvas
     - $40 per person per class 
B) Weekly 1.5hr session | Inclusive of all materials & stretched canvas
     - $55 per person per class

Conditions:
Classes must be booked and paid for in advance on a weekly basis. In the event that you can't make your scheduled class you may transfer to another session in the same week - depending on availability. A missed class will only be carried over to the following week in the event of illness or injury.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CLASS?

Fun, fun, fun!

Students work in a relaxed and informal environment that is conducive to exploring their inner creativity. 

The classes focus on acrylic and mixed medium compositions where you will learn how to incorporate a range of texturing mediums to produce either abstracted, stylised or representational / realist works. 

   

You choose what you want to work on - small class sizes mean students have the freedom to work on individual projects and learn from each other's processes.

You can choose to use the studio's materials until you've experienced a range and decided on what you like to work with. Use of the studio's materials means you get to experiment with a huge assortment of textures, colours and tools! There's more to art than the humble tube paint and paintbrush.
